My name is Rick Dodson and I am proud to be your Family Law and Criminal Defense Attorney in Corpus Christi and surrounding areas in South Texas.  I have a very rich and diverse background with experiences that make me a better attorney. 

 

I offer my family law clients an understanding that can only come from experience.  After my own divorce, I was a single father of 4 children for 8 years.  I dealt with issues involving custody, child support, visitation and modifications.  I know what you are going through as well as what you are facing.  I can help you get through what is likely to be one of the most emotional and stressful times of your life as easily as possible

 

I offer my criminal defense clients the perspective of a former law enforcement officer.  While I have the utmost respect for the police, I also realize they are not perfect and sometimes make mistakes.  As a former police officer, I know where those mistakes are usually made and can use that information to defend my clients.
